Advertising That Makes People Click

The hardest part about making money online is getting that coveted click. One click can be all that you need to succeed, and we all know how good that first one felt. But how do we get them, what makes people click on our ads?

The first and most obvious tip is to keep the content relevant. If your article is about dogs, then show an advertisement about dog obedience. If the article is about making money, then show an ad about making money. By keeping the content and ads consistent you can ensure the greatest chance that a reader may be interested in your affiliate links.

The second tip is to make the most of the space you have available. This doesn’t mean filling your site with ads. We don’t need a ton of ads, we just need a few ads in the right places. Try installing a click heat script (available all over for free) on your site to see where your readers are clicking – and place your ads accordingly. If nobody clicks your footer, then don’t put any product links there.

Finally, keep your ads fresh. Unique and creative advertisements have been shown to largely increase sales. They stick out in our mind, make us think, and keep us hooked. If you’re going to sell an eBook, then make it look good. Make it stand out from the crowd.

Great Option to Build Inbound Links

You almost certainly have heard of link building strategies such as traffic and link exchanges, as well as article submission. And the most utilized strategy and technique SEO companies use is called directory submission.

It is most likely you know what a web directory is, but if you do not we will explain. A web directory is a categorized website, within these categories links are place with title and description and your URL.

There are thousands upon thousands of free and paid web directories on the Internet today. With many new ones being created daily.   Many directory owners and companies like to boast of high pagerank on a new directory, but how can that be since the directory is new?  Well, it’s quite simple, they are using dropped or expired domains or one’s which they bought just for the pagerank. Even if these directories show valid Pagerank, it is most certain this will drop when Google does its next update.    Don’t let this trick you into paying a fee to get listed.

Directory submission can be a very inexpensive yet effective way to gain backlinks. However, you should also do a bit of research before submitting to these directories or paying to have someone else do them for you.  There are many companies that just spam your link to directories and even worse are the directory owners that just approval all listings and these will give you no value.

You might also want to check to see how many domains are on one IP.  Many companies also will put hundreds of domains on one single IP.  It is best to find directories or sites you wish to link with that have no more than five domains on one IP.

Granite Counter Tops How to Keep Them Clean

Countertops are found in some of the main parts of the house. It is in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Mini bars have countertops, kitchen islands have big countertops and even living rooms sometimes have the novelty countertop set in for entertaining. Countertops are often found on top of drawers and cabinets, it is horizontal and flat.

This is an area where you can place ingredients or store food supplies, mix drinks or concoct recipes. You can do even the most menial of chores on this surface such as cleaning pots and pans and polishing the silver. Countertops are versatile and functional. Their use in the modern home cannot be undermined.

Granite is one material that is commonly used as counter tops. It is found in most quarries and is classified as a felsic igneous intrusive rock. Polished granite is very durable and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. These reasons have made granite one of the best materials to use for counter tops. But this is a kind of stone and stone does not really go well with some cleaners and detergents. It may even degrade or dull the surface of your granite countertops.

So how exactly do you keep your countertops clean? Since the kitchen and the bathroom are areas that are prone to stains from food, chemicals and beverages, it is important to know how to clean up and maintain your kitchen countertops. Here are some tips you can use to make sure the money you spent on them goes a long way.

Do not let spills and stains linger on your countertops. Blot it up and wipe the surface as soon as you can. Whatever you spill on the surface might leave dark stains that are harder to take off if left for a period of time. Try to use coasters and placemats instead of just placing your glasses or pots on the surface of the countertop.

Use a soft, clean cloth and stone soap or neutral cleanser to clean your countertops. Strong liquids detergents and abrasive cleaners will dull the surface of your countertop and can even penetrate the stone. Do not use anything that contains lemon or acid or vinegar to clean the surface.

If you get wine stains on your countertop, try to use hydrogen peroxide to clean it up and remove the stain. This will also work for light hues of granite countertops. If it’s a darker stone or there are marker stains on it, use acetone or lacquer thinner.
